I loved this movie. Loved, loved, LOVED it!
The script was phenomenal. It was, at it’s core about morals and pursuing your happiness. And about how, in order to move forward, sometimes you need something that shakes up your world. It wasn’t TOO anything. It didn’t try too hard to be dramatic, or romantic or funny. But it was hilarious. The hilarity was in the little moments of exchanged glances and pauses.
The cast was a dream. Hugh Laurie, Leighton Meester, Allison Janney, Oliver Platt, Alia Shawkat. I personally, would have never put this cast together it was a stellar ensemble. Allison Janney. I wish she had more screen time even though, she had plenty. The audience ate her up!
Everyone came out of it raving and there were nonstop praises for the movie.
